When we move our head while looking at an object, our eyes move in the opposite direction in order to compensate for the head movement and create a stable image. If this reflex is not working well, patients can experience problems with vision and dizziness. The neurons in our brain who control this reflex have to integrate visual signals with information about head position, and they can learn and adjust over time. In this project, we use computational simulations to characterise how this learning works in response to different kinds of signals. This will help us understand the underlying mechanisms.
