Sample Application Forms

Medical Research Scotland supports the highest quality medical research in Scotland. The Members of the Trust principally provide support for graduates in Medicine, Dentistry and Science in the form of Research Project Grants, applications for which should not exceed £150,000 over three years and are normally considered on two occasions within the Trust's financial year.

All applications must be submitted online via the secure extranet www.medicalresearchscotland.net.

Application forms and guidance notes are made available on the extranet to registered applicants as far ahead of the relevant closing dates as possible. However, intending applicants who wish first to review samples in advance may do so by downloading the appropriate documents from those listed below. Please note, these are samples for review only: it will not be possible to complete or submit them. When making an application, applicants should always ensure that they first download, complete and submit the latest version of the necessary appropriate documents from the extranet.
