Applying for funding from Medical Research Scotland

Medical Research Scotland provides funding to support biomedical research in Scotland only in the form of Research Project Grants. These are awarded twice a year, following a two-stage application process. The closing dates for the stages are as shown below:

• Outline: penultimate Friday in each of May and November 2008
• Full (only from those invited following Outline application): 17 October 2008 and 10 April 2009

Please note: Medical Research Scotland no longer offers Research Fellowships, Research Workshops or Foreign Travel Grants.
